This musician's favourite not only runs the excellent London based Acccidental Records label, home of Micachu, Roisin Murphy, The invisible and many more, but finds more time to release records under his Herbert moniker as well as Doctor Rockit, Radio Boy, Mr. Vertigo, Transformer, Wishmountain...
He's also behind The Matthew Herbert Big Band (another all star line up with Arto Lindsay and Jamie Lidell).
He created his own Dogma thing called PCCOM (Personal Contract for the Composition of Music (Incorporating the Manifest of Mistakes) with eleven goals, including a personal ban on using drum machines and pre-existing samples, and ensuring that anything created in the studio can be replicated in live performance.
