Treme

Created for HBO by the man who already gave us The Wire and Generation Kill, the series focuse on the historic black american/creole neighborhood, its brass band and music scene, in a post Katrina New Orleans.
It seems lighter than The Wire but achieves to realistically portray urban life and explores sociopolitical themes.


You'll be happy to recognize a few faces from Baltimore in there, as well as John Goodman, Steve Zahn and a lot of musical guests.
