NME Tapes

Thanks god there are still a few people posting interesting things on facebook:

"Back in the 80s, the NME used to sell carefully curated compilations on cassette, spanning all genres of music. As a pre-internet teenager, I had Peel, NME and the local record library as my musical education. This amazing blog has most of the tapes now uploaded for download - a snapshot of a different era. My favourite is We Have Come For Your Children, the 60s garage comp - I was playing my copy just last week but the tape is so stretched now, its great to have it on mp3."
