Iron Maiden: Flight 666
Shot in 2008 by Sam Dunn (Metal: A Headbanger's Journey and the upcoming Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stag), this documentary shows the band touring their stadium metal in the spirit of the 1985 classic World Slavery Tour, minus the booze.
I never heard of any band who could say they travelled 40.000 miles in their own specially modified 757 (Ed Force 1), flown by their lead singer.
What is worth seeing if you're not into Maiden's music is the footage that shows hardcore fans from all over the world who generate such passion and devotion to the band (definitely going crescendo the southern they go in South America).
Check out this brazilian priest called "Father Iron Maiden" who has 162 Iron Maiden tattoos and a son called Steve Harris.
This could be a good introduction to british heavy metal and specially to this band who worked hard and kept its integrity and principles all along its career.
